Hope is a wife, mother and lover of Jesus. She has experienced many times over how the Holy Spirit uses movement to cross every language barrier and brings greater wholeness to the individual. Hope’s journey with dance started at the age of 9 in a small town outside of Rochester, NY. By the time Hope reached high school, she started attending Ballet Magnificat!’s Summer Dance Intensives in Jackson, MS. When she was 17, she moved to Springfield, MO to dance with a Christian dance company called Petra Ballet Company. After one year of living away from home, the Lord called her back and placed a new dream within her heart to establish a dance ministry in Harrisburg, PA. EncounteredHeart Dance Ministries was birthed in 2010 and has grown much since then. Hope’s passion to use dance as a way to share the Gospel has been one of the greatest blessings to her as she has been able to teach and minister across the globe in South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. She has taught ballet, pointe, strengthening, contemporary and improvisation at dance studios as well as served for several years with Project Dance Orlando. One of the most influential moments in Hope’s dance journey was ministering in Israel for four years with the International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem as well as the Jerusalem Prayer Tower. Hope has been deeply humbled throughout the years to have been able to serve in every capacity where the Lord sent her. However, she is overjoyed to settle into life as a wife and mother. She is thrilled to be on staff at Bloom Dance Studio!
